  • 2 slices milk bread/white bread (2cm thick)
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • 1½ tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 slice butter
  • 1½ tbsp vegetable oil
  • Maple syrup, honey or condensed milk
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)

How To make Hong Kong Style French Toast Recipe

To Prep
  1. Spread the peanut butter on a slice of bread, stack the other slice on top.
  2. Mix the vanilla essence into the beaten egg and mix well.
  3. Dip the bread into the egg until all parts are soaked with egg.
